What do medical English courses include?
Lessons cover the main skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing. Handouts are emailed to learners in advance to allow learners to work through the material and make notes during the lessons.
Speaking practice includes asking questions and discussing duties, pronunciation and role play scenarios with patients and other healthcare professionals. Listening tasks utilise a variety of audio files from different healthcare situations with a range of accents. Reading practice focuses on understanding unusual vocabulary like phrasal verbs and idioms within medical environments.
Writing exercises are provided as homework to complete and return to the tutor for feedback. Completion of homework exercises enhances learning and is optional.

Medical English Pre-Intermediate Course A2/B1 – Part 1
This is a five-lesson Medical English course for Healthcare Professionals. This course is ideal for nurses, doctors, paramedics etc wishing to improve their Medical English.
The course includes 5 individual 50-minutes lessons. Note: this is not a group course. Lessons can be arranged around your work schedule. Add Part 2 for a discount on 10 lessons.

Medical English Intermediate Course B1/B2 – Part 1
This is an intermediate Medical English block of 5 individual lessons aimed at Healthcare Professionals wishing to improve their Medical English.
The course includes 5 individual lessons of 50-minutes duration. Note: this is not a group course. This is a block of 5 one-to-one lessons.
Dates and times for lessons are booked, by learners, via a simple booking calendar. Each lesson can be arranged around work schedules and rotas.
